BRAND NEW: No Through Road – “Party To Survive”

No Through Road are an Australian indie band, who I had previously not heard of, but it seems they have been around for a while with a few CD’s out so far.

“Party To Survive” is off their newest release, “Winner”, which is out on the 25th of April. With a few guitars and some vocal effects these guys can do a lot. The vocals remind me of The Strokes’ “Repitilia” for some reason. It’s got a nice bridge and a suitable solo towards the end that melodically sounds well with the vocals. Slightly repetitive, but this is a solid indie track. Nothing revolutionary, but it’s good.

You can find a free mp3 of “Party To Survive” from this triple j page. You can also check out some other songs by them on their MySpace page.
And! If you want some undefined free tracks, scroll across to the very right of this page here. Their official site. You can even download their first independent release, for free! This is awesome, I’m gonna have to get it.
